Climbing aside, both 50 and 80 mile routes lead riders across the stunning countryside of Aylesbury Vale onto the Chiltern Hills and back again via some very quiet back roads and beautiful scenery.
Please note the clue is in the name. Climbing in Buckinghamshire is short and sharp rather than progressive, and both you lungs and thighs will ‘Howl’.
British Cycling’s own rating struggles with our landscape – the 80 mile route is tough! If in doubt register for the 50 mile course.
Take a look at earlier YouTube video for a taster of what lies ahead http://youtu.be/lEHOa_FDvco
