Howler 2018 – 23rd September
Back this year with both 90 and 125 km routes taking riders across the stunning countryside of Aylesbury Vale onto the Chiltern Hills and back again via South Oxfordshire. Quiet back roads, beautiful scenery and challenging climbs.
Your lungs and thighs will ‘Howl’ – Guaranteed.
British Cycling’s own rating struggles with our landscape and this years Epic route is the toughest we’ve ever planned. If in doubt register for the 90km course.

What do I get on the day?

Distances and pricing
The entry for either distance is £20 for adults (18 and over). This year we have opened the Howler to junior riders (15-17) accompanied by a parent or guardian for a reduced fee of £15. Necessary consent forms can be downloaded from our entry system.
This year we’re offering an additional text message service which will deliver your finish time directly to your mobile in real time.
We do not make refunds but riders can transfer their entry to another rider by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org Adults can also freely switch between the 125 and 90 km routes if injury, lack of training or added enthusiasm kick in before the event.
Food and drink
You’ll be served with coffee and tea at registration and visit well stocked feed-stations on the course. There is a single station on the 90km route with a second on the 125km plus when you get back we’ll have a hot dog ready for you.
